Barhi Dates has a sweet caramel flavor when fully ripe. This date is unique as it can be eaten at all stages of ripeness; semi-ripe, fully-ripe and when its fully dried. The flavors will mature as it ripens with cinnamon and sugarcane tones at the semi-ripe being a popular comparison to a rich caramel and butterscotch taste when fully-ripe.
